Vice Chancellor Inaugurates Climate Extremes and Risk Analytics Lab (CERAL) at ULAB

The School of Business at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) inaugurated the Climate Extremes and Risk Analytics Lab (CERAL) on 3 August 2026. The lab was officially inaugurated by Professor Shamsad Mortuza, Vice Chancellor of ULAB, in the presence of Professor Sarwar Ahmed, Dean of the School of Business, along with faculty members.
The establishment of CERAL marks an important step in advancing interdisciplinary research, innovation, and data-driven solutions for climate resilience and risk analytics. It reflects ULAB's commitment to addressing emerging global challenges through research, collaboration, and evidence-based knowledge that contributes to sustainable development.
