Alumni Voices Shape Discussions on Industry-Relevant Education

Alumni participation took center stage at a recent session organized by University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, where graduates shared practical insights on aligning academic learning with the evolving demands of the job market and industry.

The event featured keynote remarks from Prof Shamsad Mortuza, Vice Chancellor of ULAB, who emphasized the need for innovation, adaptability, and stronger collaboration between academia and industry. Prof Sarwar Uddin Ahmed, Dean of ULAB School of Business, also highlighted the importance of continuously modernizing academic programs to maintain global relevance and competitiveness.

Moderated by Ms. Arzoo Ismail, Senior Lecturer, the interactive discussion brought together alumni, students, and faculty members in a collaborative exchange of ideas. According to ULAB, the session fostered meaningful dialogue between graduates and current students while reinforcing the value of alumni engagement in shaping future-ready education and stronger industry–academia connections.
