Md. Imran Hossain, PhD

Md. Imran Hossain is an Assistant Professor in the ULAB School of Business. He has joined ULAB in January 2017 after completing a PhD in Development Economics from the Graduate School of Asia Pacific Studies, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU), Japan. Dr. Imran also studied Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and MSc in Development Economics in the same institute. Before joining ULAB, he worked as a teaching and research assistant at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific university (APU) for about 4 years. The courses taught in ULAB include Introduction to Business, Business Mathematics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Basic Mathematics etc. Dr. Imran has contributed as a member of different committees within the department like ULAB School of Business (USB) BBA curriculum review committee and academic integration committee etc. Apart from that he has been serving as a faculty advisor of Rotaract Club of ULAB since August, 2017.
