ULAB Executive MBA Students Visit Bata Bangladesh Factory and Corporate Head Office

The ULAB Executive MBA Program organized an engaging Industrial Field Study Tour for its outgoing EMBA students at Bata Bangladesh’s manufacturing facility and Corporate Head Office.
The field study provided students with an excellent opportunity to step beyond the classroom and gain firsthand insights into industrial operations, footwear manufacturing, production management, human resources, and corporate practices.
A Valuable Industry Learning Experience
As part of the visit, the EMBA students had the opportunity to learn about the end-to-end shoe production process, gaining a practical understanding of how footwear is manufactured and how production operations are managed within a large-scale industrial environment.
The students also visited the Bata Bangladesh Corporate Head Office, where they gained valuable perspectives on corporate management, organizational practices, and the role of human resources in supporting business operations.
Learning Beyond the Classroom
Industry visits such as this are an integral part of the ULAB Executive MBA experience, allowing students to connect academic concepts with real-world business practices and develop a deeper understanding of how organizations operate.
The ULAB Executive MBA Program remains committed to creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn from industry, engage with professionals, and develop practical managerial perspectives.
