ULAB School of Business Bridges Theory and Practice with Experiential Factory Visit to 3A Chocolate and Candy Factory, Savar

The BBA Program, School of Business at ULAB, organized an experiential learning field trip to 3A Chocolate and Candy Factory, Savar, on August 8, 2026, bringing academic concepts to life through direct industry exposure.

A selected group of 30 students from Introduction to Business and Microeconomics, taught by Ms. Arzoo Ismail, Senior Lecturer, ULAB School of Business, participated in the visit. During the tour, students explored the factory’s production operations, automated systems, supply chain processes, cost structures, and marketing practices.

Hosted by Mr. AKM Alamgir Khan (Jamil), the visit provided students with valuable insights into how concepts such as economies of scale, operational efficiency, resource allocation, and market competitiveness translate into everyday business decisions.

By stepping beyond the classroom and engaging directly with industry, students gained a practical perspective on how businesses operate, create value, and compete in the market.
